To play the game, start with a deck of 60 cards of various types. Players take turns using energy cards, trainer cards and Pokemon to power up and battle their opponent's Pokemons, fighting it out to see who has the strongest Pokemon team. This new set comes with over 185 cards including 14 powerful Pokemon V cards, 7 Pokemon VMAX, more than 15 Trainer cards, and 3 new Special Energy Cards, so you can test your battle abilities in a showdown against your friends and foes!
