Description
Description
Transform rough rocks into gorgeous polished gems! A great STEM gift for future geologists and earth scientists, this kit includes everything kids need to turn rough, ordinary rocks into polished gemstones. Jewelry fastenings allow your kids to create beautiful keepsakes from their favorite specimens. Don't worry, parents! The powerful, long-lasting motor and leak-proof noise-reducing barrel is built with durability in mind: once they've polished the included rocks, kids can continue their experiments by tumbling rocks, glass, wood, and other materials they collect.
Kit includes 1 high-quality rock tumbler with 450 g capacity; 200 g / 7 oz of rough rocks in 10 assorted gemstones; 4 grit packets; strainer; jewelry settings: necklace, keychain, ring, earrings; manual and educational poster. USB-C powered, cable included.
From Thames & Kosmos, for ages 8+ yrs.
